Five days later, a routine eye exam still showed 20/20 vision. Four days after that, she woke with pain and redness in one eye, and said her vision quickly became blurry and her eye filled with blood. She says the problems continued for years, including recurring inflammation, high eye pressure, infection, a vitrectomy and a retinal hole. Her doctor also wrote a letter advising that she should not receive a second CV-19 VX dose. Today, Caven says she can see only shadows through that eye and still requires treatment to control the inflammation and pain. “Sometimes I have dreams.
