Her mother, Stephanie Krisner, a psychiatrist, says Victoria was healthy, happy and alert before her two-month VXs. Within a week, she says Victoria became sick, withdrawn and irritable, stopped wanting to eat, and experienced an episode where she stopped breathing or may have had a seizure.
Emergency responders examined her, but according to Stephanie, no testing was done because Victoria appeared normal by the time they arrived.
Days later, Victoria received another round of VXs.
A few months later, while being cared for by a babysitter, Victoria stopped breathing and turned blue. Her father arrived to find emergency vehicles surrounding the home. Victoria had died.
Stephanie says she believes Victoria suffered a delayed inflammatory reaction following VX.
“I follow the rules, and I damage those children to the point that they die. That’s hard for me to understand.”
Her story is featured in The Greater Good, a documentary examining VX safety, adverse reactions, and the debate surrounding VX.
