“Don’t tell them it’s a VX injury.” Dr. Charles Hoffe says those were the words he was given after asking how to get seriously affected patients assessed by specialists. On Day 2, September 9, 2026, Hoffe testified at the Allison Inquiry on Parliament Hill in Ottawa about what he says he witnessed as a longtime family doctor in Lytton, B.C. He described patients developing severe neurological symptoms after CV VX, including burning pain, weakness, difficulty walking and cranial nerve problems. Hoffe says that when he attempted to urgently refer six seriously affected patients to neurologists, he repeatedly encountered resistance once the cases were identified as possible VX injuries. He also testified that he submitted suspected VX-injury reports to public health authorities, but the cases were dismissed as coincidences. Hoffe later faced disciplinary proceedings after publicly raising VX safety concerns. The College ultimately dropped the charges against him. Hoffe described the disciplinary process as a censorship tactic intended to discourage other doctors from speaking out.
