SIDS after VX - 34 hours after receiving his two-month VXs, eight-week-old Sawyer John Kendall was found unresponsive in his bassinet and could not be revived. His parents, Melissa Pike and Nick Kendall, say Sawyer was still experiencing cold symptoms and a rash when they brought him for his VXs on October 27, 2022. They questioned whether he should be VXed while sick but say the pediatrician reassured them because he had no fever. Within half an hour of returning home, Sawyer reportedly let out an unusual scream. He died the following day. The medical examiner attributed his death to asphyxiation associated with improper sleep conditions, but his parents dispute that conclusion.
