"My name is Tanner. My name is Tanner." Those were the last words Tanner Welsh spoke, just two days after receiving Tdap, MMR and polio VXs at four and a half years old. His father, Timothy Welsh, describes how Tanner lost his ability to speak, feed himself, dress himself and communicate. He believes the VXs caused his son's devastating regression. Tanner remained nonverbal for the rest of his life. He passed away on February 1, 2022, at age 24.
