About this video
A healthy 29-year-old engineering student says he became severely disabled after his first Moderna CV-19 VX.
Dawood Al-Janaby testified at the Allison Inquiry that he developed excruciating nerve pain, electrical shocks throughout his body, extreme fatigue and uncontrollable tremors lasting approximately three and a half years.
His condition became so severe that he could barely walk and needed his family's help to use the bathroom. His testimony includes hospital footage of his uncontrollable shaking.
Despite Ontario's disability support program recognizing his condition as post-CV VX syndrome, Canada's VX Injury Support Program rejected his compensation claim.
During his appeal, Dawood says he discovered that his father's medical records had been used to assess his case.
