Colton Barrett and Mia Blesky two teenagers who were paralyzed by the HPV VX
Colton's mother says that shortly after receiving it, Colton developed nausea, severe weakness and eventually paralysis. At the hospital, she says he was diagnosed with transverse myelitis and the doctors told her they would report the event to VAERS.
Colton later required a breathing device attached through a tube in his throat. In 2018, his family says he took his own life after believing he had become too much of a burden on them.

The video also tells the story of 12-year-old Mia Blesky. Her mother says Mia received her first HPV VX at school on September 21, 2016. The following morning, she woke up unable to walk or bear weight on her legs.
Her mother says Mia’s condition progressively deteriorated until she lost the use of her legs, neck and arms, and for 13 weeks was only able to blink and speak.

The video then raises broader questions about Gardasil’s clinical trials, placebo design, reported adverse events and the way HPV risk was presented to parents and doctors.
Dr. John Littell says he has personally seen patients develop menstrual disruption, neurological problems and infertility following HPV VX. He also says:
“I’ve seen cases of infertility related to the HPV VX, where women had lost their cycles.”
The HPV vaccine remains on the U.S. childhood immunization schedule.
