About this video

Gov. Josh Shapiro and the media have said two people died “from” measles in Pennsylvania for the first time in 35 years, while the Lancaster County coroner says he had no cases in which measles was the cause of death. Shapiro has used the deaths while criticizing RFK Jr.’s VX rhetoric, yet one of the two deaths was a newborn — too young to have received the routine MMR VX. The autopsy found the baby died from a ruptured spleen with massive bleeding. PCR testing detected measles, but the forensic pathologist determined measles did not cause or contribute to the death.
