Ralph Lorigo — Attorney Who Sued Hospitals Over Ivermectin Access. He testified that he won 72 cases in which ivermectin was ultimately administered, with three of those patients dying. He also said that in the 140 cases where he was unable to obtain ivermectin through the courts, every patient died.
At Sen. Ron Johnson’s September 28, 2026 roundtable, “CV-19 Hospital Protocols: Real Stories from Real People,” Buffalo-area attorney Ralph Lorigo testified about his efforts to obtain ivermectin for hospitalized CV-19 patients after hospitals refused family requests. The roundtable brought together patients, families, doctors, nurses and other participants to discuss CV-era hospital treatment and patient experiences.

Lorigo, an attorney with more than 50 years of legal experience, said he represented 212 families across 40 states.
He described repeatedly suing hospitals, including six cases involving Rochester-area hospitals. Lorigo said he initially obtained court orders in all six cases, but that hospitals appealed or refused to administer ivermectin in several later cases before the patients died.
Lorigo also described an Illinois woman whose husband was on a ventilator. After Lorigo lost the court case, he said she secretly crushed ivermectin and placed it into her husband’s feeding tube for two weeks. According to Lorigo, her husband survived.
He concluded by calling for a national right-to-try law that includes off-label drugs, arguing that the issue extends beyond CV-19 and ivermectin to medical freedom and patients’ ability to pursue treatment options.
